跟團旅行特別是有領隊，包含一切行程費用的旅行叫escorted tours。
Escorted tours are structured group tours, with a group leader. The price usually includes everything from airfare to hotels, meals, tours, admission costs, and local transportation.(紐約時報/旅行版) 還有一種叫做套裝旅遊行程，有一點像中文的「自由行」，叫package tour。
Package tours are simply a way to buy the airfare, accommodations, and other elements of your trip (such as car rentals, airport transfers, and sometimes even activities) at the same time and often at discounted prices. (紐約時報/旅行版)
Package 的意思是把一切都像打包似的包在了一起，包含門票、機票、旅館費用等。商業交易有一大堆的條件，也可用package，叫做package deal ，只有當包括的所有條件都接受後買賣才能繼續下去。同理，要是制定出一大堆措施，就叫做a package of measures，走在國外的大街上猛一抬頭看到一個招牌，上書Package Store，千萬不要以為一個什麼東西都賣的雜貨鋪。只要你進去就會發現它是個酒的專賣店。
幾個朋友或家人一道去旅行自己安排的行程，叫做independent tours 或self-guided tours.

餐廳上菜了，waiter說："Here you go"，請店員找一本書，他把東西拿給你的時候，也說"Here you go"；付款找零時，cashier也說"Here you go"。你答對問題，給一點稱讚，也叫做"Here you go"。導引方向時，usher請你往哪個方向，也說"Here you go"。
"Here you go"很難找到一個適當的中文翻譯，大概可簡單譯成「請！」、「這是你要的！」或是「答對了！」

會在結束一段對話前自然脫口而出。像買東西付完錢之後店員會說，"There you go"或"That's it" 表示交易已經完成。"There you go"也時也有點諷刺意味，有點「看吧！又來這一套」的語氣。"Here you go"和"There you go"有時也共用，沒有分得那麼清楚，含有鼓勵的意思，大概可以譯成「幹得好！」。

中英對譯時，最怕的是逐字翻。文法不容易對，意思也沒有出來。”沒大沒小”這一說法我們在日常生活中常用，我們先看一段對話：
John was playing tag with the children at the party. Then his wife said, "John, act your age," and he stopped. 約翰在聚會上和孩子們玩相互捉迷藏的游戲，只聽他太太說“約翰，別沒大沒小的”，於是約翰便不再玩了。
Act as one’s age 可以解為沒大沒小，但Act as one’s age,在下面這句話裏就不能譯成沒大沒小的。
You are a big boy now. Act your age. 你已經是個大人了，就該像個大人的樣。

例句：

"push around" 把……呼來喚去，欺侮，擺佈。

可能由於很多人都講錯；也可能是老師教錯；也可能是人們不求甚解的態度，日常生活中，有很多經常錯讀的英語。以下是綜合三十外籍顧問，他們認為老中最容易發錯音的單字。
1. skype
這個e是不發音的。像type、hope一樣，經常聽人講成skypee，是錯誤的唸法。
2. colleague
尾音是g。像Ivy League(長春藤聯校)或Major League (大聯盟)等gue都發成/g/，很多人唸成/gju/，多了一個母音。
3. aisle
aisle 中 s 不發音。到機場劃機位，喜歡坐通道旁位置的可以說：”Aisle seat, please!”
很多人都會把aisle說成是 /aІsl/，像 i – so 似的，錯了。應該是 /aɪl/，因aisle中s不發音。
4. executive
主管，這個字的重音在第二個e，/ɪgˋzɛkjutɪv/很多人唸成和execution很接近，重音在u。
5. deputy
代理、副的意思。重音在第一音節。
6. maintenance
維護，重音在第一音節/ˋmentənəns/。同類錯誤還有mechanism，重音在第一音節。
7. half
這個字太簡單了，反而常錯，L不發音，唸[hæf]。
8. receipt
p不發音。讀 /rɪ’sit/ 不是 /rɪ’sipt/
9. exit
出口，/ˋɛksɪt/，名詞的重音在第一音節。
10. exhibition
展覽/ɛksəˋbɪʃən/。h不發音。

英文裡有一種說法是"throw caution to the winds"，把謹慎丟到風裡和中文的「豁出去」有異曲同工之妙。講這話時，經常是有點情緒，有時候也帶著小小自嘲的幽默。I'm going to throw caution to the winds and guess that you feel like hell today.
