Debug: 找出英文錯誤，像治癒一種陳年宿疾一樣！

Debug是每週六工商時報”世界公民weekly”最受歡迎的單元。以下七個例句是別人或自己常常會講錯的英文，請試著找出錯誤：

1.)   A: What do you do? B: I’m fine.

2.)     The story is real.

3.)     I met one of my high school friends on my way to work.

4.)     I very enjoy talking to you.

5.)     I am usually going to work by car.

6.)     You don't want to see it? Yes, I don’t.

7.)   Do you have an agenda? Yes, I have.

Debugged(答案)

1.)   A: What do you do? B: I am a salesman. 
“What do you do”是問人的職業。答案直接告訴人你做什麼就好。

2.)   The story is true!
real和true的區別：real強調人或事物真實的存在，而不是想像的或虛構的。true則強調符合事實，是真的，而不是假的，是相符的，而不是編造的。
【例句】
Father Christmas isn't real.聖誕老人不是真有其人。 
I'm learning to skate on real ice.我在真正的冰上學溜冰。 
Read through the passage first and then tell me which answer is true.先通讀一遍這篇文章，然後告訴我哪個答案是正確的。 
A true friend is a real friend.忠誠的朋友才是真正的朋友。

3.)   I ran into one of my high school friends on my way to work.
不小心遇見而不是約好的用”run into”。

4.)   I enjoy talking to you very much.
Very雖是副詞，不能用來形容動詞，只能用來形容形容詞。

5.)   I usually go to work by car.
Usually是頻率動詞，表示一種習慣，用現在式。

6.)   You don't want to see it? No, I don't.
和中文不一樣，英文邏輯簡單，只要否定，就用no。肯定就用yes。

7.)   Do you have an agenda?  Yes, I do.
要用I have回答，後面就要把an agenda再說一遍。不然就得用助動詞代替。
